By accessing or using this website, requesting an insurance quote, submitting an application, contacting us electronically, enrolling in SMS communications, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

Commercial Trucking Insurance is not an insurance company.

Insurance policies are issued solely by licensed insurance carriers that independently determine eligibility, pricing, policy terms, exclusions, conditions, and coverage availability.

No Insurance Coverage is Bound

Submitting information through this website does not create insurance coverage.

Specifically:

  • Requesting a quote does not bind coverage.
  • Completing an online form does not create an insurance policy.
  • Sending an email does not create insurance coverage.
  • Leaving a voicemail does not bind insurance.
  • Sending a text message does not bind insurance.
  • Uploading documents does not create coverage.
  • Receiving a quote does not constitute issuance of an insurance policy.

Coverage becomes effective only after:

  • An insurance carrier approves the application;
  • All underwriting requirements have been satisfied;
  • Required premium payments have been received when applicable; and
  • A licensed representative confirms that coverage has been bound or a policy has been issued by the insurance carrier.

Unless expressly confirmed in writing by an authorized representative, you should never assume that insurance coverage is in effect.

Insurance Quotes

Insurance quotes provided through this website are estimates based upon the information available at the time the quote is prepared.

Quotes are:

  • Non-binding;
  • Subject to underwriting review;
  • Subject to verification of information;
  • Subject to changes in carrier guidelines;
  • Subject to inspection reports where applicable;
  • Subject to applicable state regulations; and
  • Subject to withdrawal without notice until coverage has been formally bound.

Premiums, deductibles, limits, eligibility, and available coverage may change following underwriting review or receipt of additional information.

Commercial Trucking Insurance makes no guarantee that any applicant will qualify for insurance or receive coverage at a particular premium.

Commercial Trucking Information

Insurance underwriting for commercial trucking operations requires accurate operational information.

By submitting information through this website, you represent that information relating to your business is accurate, including but not limited to:

  • Business name;
  • DOT Number;
  • MC Number;
  • USDOT registration information;
  • Number of power units;
  • Number of trailers;
  • Years in business;
  • Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs);

  • Result in denial of coverage;
  • Affect premiums;
  • Delay policy issuance;
  • Result in policy cancellation;
  • Result in policy rescission where permitted by law; or
  • Affect claims coverage.

No Professional or Legal Advice

Information provided on this website is intended solely for general informational purposes.

Nothing on this website constitutes:

  • Legal advice;
  • Financial advice;
  • Tax advice;
  • Accounting advice;
  • Regulatory compliance advice;
  • Safety consulting;
  • FMCSA compliance advice; or
  • Professional consulting services.

Insurance recommendations should not be interpreted as legal opinions regarding your compliance with federal or state trucking regulations.

You should consult qualified legal, tax, accounting, safety, or regulatory professionals regarding matters outside the scope of insurance brokerage services.

Licensing and Availability

Commercial Trucking Insurance offers insurance products only in jurisdictions where it is properly licensed or otherwise authorized to conduct business.

Insurance products, policy forms, coverages, premiums, limits, deductibles, underwriting guidelines, and eligibility requirements vary by state and by insurance carrier.

Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to sell insurance in any jurisdiction where we are not licensed or otherwise authorized to conduct business.

Availability of insurance products is subject to applicable state laws and insurance carrier underwriting requirements.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use this website solely for lawful business and personal purposes related to obtaining information about insurance products and services.

You acknowledge that failure to provide complete and accurate information may affect underwriting decisions, premium calculations, policy issuance, claims handling, or continued coverage.

Certificates of Insurance (COIs)

Commercial Trucking Insurance may assist policyholders in requesting Certificates of Insurance (“COIs”) for existing insurance policies.

COIs are issued solely to summarize existing insurance coverage and are subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, endorsements, and limitations of the underlying insurance policy.

A Certificate of Insurance:

  • Does not amend the insurance policy;
  • Does not extend coverage;
  • Does not create additional insured status unless specifically endorsed by the insurance carrier;
  • Does not alter policy limits;
  • Does not modify policy exclusions;
  • Does not guarantee future coverage; and
  • Does not constitute a contract between any certificate holder and Commercial Trucking Insurance.

Commercial Trucking Insurance reserves the right to verify all COI requests before submission to the applicable insurance carrier.

Claims Assistance

Commercial Trucking Insurance may assist policyholders with reporting insurance claims and facilitating communications with insurance carriers.

However:

  • We do not adjust claims;
  • We do not determine claim coverage;
  • We do not authorize claim payments;
  • We do not guarantee claim approval; and
  • Final claim decisions are made solely by the applicable insurance carrier.

Policyholders remain responsible for promptly reporting claims in accordance with their insurance policy requirements.

Failure to timely report a claim may affect coverage.

Third-Party Insurance Carriers

Commercial Trucking Insurance is an independent insurance brokerage and is not the insurer issuing your policy.

Insurance products offered through our website are underwritten by independent insurance companies.

Each insurance carrier independently determines:

  • Eligibility;
  • Premiums;
  • Underwriting guidelines;
  • Policy language;
  • Exclusions;
  • Endorsements;
  • Claims decisions;
  • Policy cancellations;
  • Non-renewals; and
